By submitting or uploading content, you grant the Initiative a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically adapt that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Platform and its features.

This licence continues only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to applicable law, technical limitations, lawful retention requirements, and any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and grant this licence.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or violates these Terms.

You are responsible for retaining your own copies of important content. We do not guarantee that user-generated content will always remain available.

  8. 08Messaging and Communications

Messaging features allow members to communicate with one another where those features are available.

You agree not to use messaging to harass, threaten, defraud, spam, exploit, or unlawfully solicit other members.

Do not assume that messages are end-to-end encrypted or that all communications are permanently available. Messages may be subject to technical processing, lawful retention, security measures, and the limitations explained in our Privacy Policy.

You should exercise care when sharing personal, financial, or confidential information with other members.

  9. 09Marketplace Listings and Transactions

    • Members are responsible for their listings, descriptions, pricing, claims, and transactions.
    • Members must have the legal right and any required permissions to sell or provide what they advertise.
    • Listings must not involve unlawful goods, services, or activities.
    • Buyers and sellers are responsible for independently assessing each other and agreeing on transaction terms.
    • The Initiative does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, delivery, or suitability of listed products or services.
    • The Initiative is not automatically a party to transactions between members.
    • The Platform does not promise payment processing, escrow, refunds, delivery, dispute resolution, or buyer protection unless such a service is expressly offered.

Members should use appropriate caution and lawful payment and transaction practices. Report suspected fraud, prohibited listings, or abuse to admin@theyouthshome.com.

We may remove, restrict, or suspend marketplace listings that violate these Terms or create a reasonable safety, legal, or operational concern.

  10. 10Learning and Training Resources

The Platform may provide educational content, courses, workshops, and other learning resources.

These resources are intended for educational and personal-development purposes. Unless expressly stated, we do not guarantee particular learning outcomes, employment, business success, professional accreditation, certification, or financial results.

You are responsible for evaluating whether a course or resource meets your needs and for complying with any stated participation requirements.

You must not copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit learning materials except as permitted by the applicable licence, the Initiative, or law.

  11. 11Intellectual Property

The Platform’s branding, logos, original text, design, software, learning materials, and other content owned by the Initiative are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized in writing, you must not reproduce, distribute, modify, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from the Initiative’s protected materials.

You may not use our name, logo, or branding in a manner that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation, or authorization.

Third-party names, logos, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

  12. 12Privacy and Personal Information

Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to collect, misuse, publish, or disclose other members’ personal information in violation of applicable law or these Terms.

We will handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law.

  13. 13Moderation and Enforcement

To maintain a safe and functional community, we may review reports, investigate suspected violations, remove or restrict content, disable features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to respond. We are not required to provide advance notice where urgent action is reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, preserve security, or prevent harm.

We may preserve relevant information where reasonably necessary for security, investigations, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

If you believe an action was taken in error, you may contact admin@theyouthshome.com for review.

  14. 14Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may rely on third-party providers or contain links to external websites and services.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and availability. We do not control services operated independently by third parties and are not responsible for their practices, content, or performance except to the extent required by law.

Your use of a third-party service may require you to accept that provider’s terms.

  15. 15Availability, Changes, and Maintenance

We aim to provide a useful and reliable Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or services for operational, security, legal, or business reasons.

We will take reasonable steps to communicate significant changes where appropriate. We are not responsible for interruptions or losses to the extent caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

    • These Terms have been materially violated.
    • An account poses a reasonable security, legal, or safety risk.
    • We are required to do so by law.
    • Continued access would materially compromise the Platform or other members.

Where an account is deleted or terminated, access to associated content and services may be lost. Certain information may remain where legally required or reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or lawful recordkeeping, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms do not override any legal rights you may have concerning account closure or deletion.

  17. 17Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

The Initiative does not guarantee the conduct of members, the accuracy of member-generated content, the performance of marketplace transactions, or any particular educational, personal, employment, or business outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, consumer protections, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Initiative will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, member interactions, or third-party services. This provision does not apply where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

  18. 18Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising directly from your unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

Nothing in this section creates an obligation that is prohibited by applicable law or removes any non-waivable legal protection.

  19. 19Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Platform, our services, legal obligations, or organizational structure.

Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify members, such as posting the revised Terms on the website or through the Platform. Where required by law, we will request renewed acceptance before continued use of affected services.

The effective date at the top of this document indicates when the current version takes effect.

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied subject to applicable laws and any mandatory legal protections available to users in the jurisdictions where they reside or access the platform. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The Initiative may review and update these Terms as its registration, operations, and legal responsibilities expand into other jurisdictions. Any change to the governing law or dispute-resolution provisions will be communicated through an updated version of these Terms.
